    NICE ROD AND REEL, USED IT IN SALT WATER SEVERAL TIMES AND STILL WORKING GOOD. FISHED JAMES RIVER IN VA FOR CROAKERS , HANDLE 2 FISH AT A TIME WITHOUT A PROBLEM. HAVE HAD SIMILAR REELS THAT DIDN’T. ZEBCO HAS A ANOTHER MODEL SAME SIZE AS THIS ONE, THE SALT WATER REEL IS MUCH STRONGER. HOPE THIS HELPS.
