Question by Kristoff S: What kind of ski jacket should I buy?
I want to get a new ski jacket that is warm enough but doesn’t cost a lot.
Can anyone reccomend a brand or store that I should look at?

It depends were you are going, but if you want one that is good and fairly cheap you should try columbia.

I’m also a Columbia person. I got a Columbia jacket two years ago at one of those Ski and Snowboard shows in my city and the prices are always great at those. I got a $ 220 Columbia for $ 85 bucks!
Usually they have those shows in the Fall, so check your area and there may be one soon. Good luck.
i think bonfires are considered a “snowboarding” jacket but its the warmest and nicest jacket ive ever had and it was only about 80$ or so. Good brands include…North Face, Columbia,Bonfire,Burton,or Spider but Spiders are pricey..
I personally love Karbon. Its warm and not poofy. But if you’re on a budget, Columbia and LLbean I guess.
I would look at getting a Drift Creek Outdoors jacket. They have a waterproof softshell jacket that kicks butt on any other brand. I got it two years ago and it is nearly indestructible. I paid about $ 120 for it, if I would have bought any other brand they cost $ 250-$ 400! I got it on http://www.DryAngler.com. It was style #5001. Take a look at it.
