I had ordered this sleeping bag, based on the fact I had gotten my son the smaller/compact Suisse Sport bag and it worked real well for him. This one, is equally well-made and it fits me better than the compact one (I can fit in it, but I look like Dracula in his coffin). The larger one here, I actually have some wiggle room. If I had any complaint about it at all, I wish the hood drawstring closed further down. It seems the material bunches up before it can fully cinch shut.
For those wondering if they’ll fit, I’m 5’10″ and 230 lbs, with a 46″ chest. I have plenty of leg room as well.

Don’t buy it if you’re claustrophobic, because it’s really snugg. However, there’s enough room to roll over if you’re a fidgety sleeper, and it keeps you super warm. Wind just sluices right off.

I have been looking for a small lightweight sleeping bag for a while and I was a bit skeptical about their extra small version and I wanted something that could handle lower temperatures. I saw this product in the related products section and looked at it, it seemed like a good choice so I took the chance and bought it. When it came it was larger than I thought but I liked it anyway (it got a lot smaller if you take it out and put it back in its stuff-sack) All in all this is a great product that exceeded my expectations.

I used this bag while camping in Prescott, Arizona the first weekend in May 2010, which was unseasonably cold and windy with the overnight temperature reaching just below freezing. I had a good quality Thermarest pad under the bag inside a Kelty Riverbend 2 Webforce tent. The wind was moderate, but steady and moved through the tent. The bag performed well until the temps dropped in the early morning. At that point I could feel a moderate loss of heat from the bag around my torso as I shifted my sleeping position to my side, making me wish I’d brought my mil-surplus wool blanket. Also, I could feel the wind sometimes coming through the zipper. The drawstring on the hood area of the bag performed great, allowing me to cinch the opening down to stop all of the wind. I am 5’7″ and average build, and find the width of this bag more roomy that my North Face Blue Kazoo (down), but not as warm. I will continue to use this bag, but with a cover blanket, and certainly not if I expect temps to drop below 25 F.

I liked the alpine green and sage colors on the sleeping bag. At close to six feet in height, I fit comfortably into this thing and still had ample leg room to spare. The fabric kept me warm at 20 degrees outside temp. The bag easily rolled into a nice little package but I had to overcome the temptation to make an even tighter bundle as the straps are weak. I found it hard to pull up on the zipper even when I lined it up. Will buy another!
