    This rod was a bargain at the sale price! It is perfect for bluegill fishing as well as smaller streams for trout. Also good to keep behind your truck seat or in your trunk for those impromtu fishing times. The rod has a very soft action all the way back to the butt section and bends easily. This makes small fish fun but don’t worry about it breaking on a larger fish as Rhinos can take an awful strain without breaking. The quality is surprisingly good for a “cheap” rod and the fun factor is high. We all know Rhinos (and Ugly Stiks) tend to be heavy, but this rod doesn’t suffer from that problem. It is light enough and tough enough for a kid and good enough for an experienced adult to enjoy.

    Bought this rod for my kids, 5 and 7. They each caught catfish in the 4 lbs range. Rod handeled well and kids can cast easily.
