Deceiving Details,
I bought this and tried it at home. The 36 calls and the expert hunts played well, sounded good and were fairly loud. I didn’t get a chance to try it in the field. The product says you can download additional sounds and hunts in the Primos Sound Library at the company website. I couldn’t find it and contacted customer service to ask. I was told that it wouldn’t be available until December 2011. From today that is 6-10 weeks away depending on when in December they meant. I returned it. I may purchase it again if reviews come out after and if the sound library isn’t horrendously priced and has a decent selection.
For right now all it has are calls suitable to coyotes, mostly yips and pups etc, only a few distressed prey calls. There are empty menu options to be filled later with a wide range of game from bobcats to moose to turkey, it has potential, but until the product can offer what it claims I will leave it at 3 stars.
