hey nice video. one tip though is when the fish hits hit will hold the bait for a good two to three seconds and while it has the bait lower ur rod and reel in ur slack and then set the hook.

ummm i dont think this is the best lake in the country lol maybe in ur local area….but for sure every pond,stream, river,creek,and lake in socal have a lot bigger fish than those and a way bigger average ….lol soo maybe not the best lake in the country ..just saying
@vthuntress Hi Karen. Things are well. Fishing has been going well this season I have managed a few tournament wins this month along with some other finishes in the money. Fished Champlain last month and absolutely crushed them. Came home with a sore arm for real. =-)

i grew up fishing on lake Champlain. its a beautiful lake. i haven’t ever really fished down by Ticonderoga much. i prefer up north for big small mouth. alot of good memories! going up this week to do some salmon fishing cant wait!
Clear lake is a good lake, But it cant touch Lake Champlain, I have fished across the country including many lakes in southern california. There is no better habitat lake for largemouth then lake champlain. The only downside is the fish dont grow as big due to the colder water temps- good videos and some nice Champlain bass. What lure is it that your using? This question has been dodged, how about letting me in on it? one of the best topwater baits for Champlain is a good ole hula popper.
yeah Clear Lake is tough to beat. I have never fished there personally.
You said you’ve never seen a lake like that in the country… Have you seen Clear Lake? Just as good, but probably better.

im heading up to North Hero VT on Lake Champlain now(from burlington) and i’d do anything to have a few Gitzits….my favorite plastic/tube..its almost not fair! MT
