It can get quite pricey. Overton’s is a business that does quite very good with high quality equipment and it is about mid-range costs. I like to use ebay. I know it’s not the most trustworthy but a lot of nearby business’s put their overstock or equipment that is not selling on there and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper. I have purchased from dj’s board shop on ebay and they even covered shipping. They also threw in a dvd and handle for no cost. Hope i helped some, very good luck!

It can be expensive, that’s if your seriously looking into doing some crazy stuff.
The rope should be low stretch 1-2% which can be about 50-60$
The wakeboard ranges from 100-500$ I would recommend a hyper-light you can find these cheap on ebay and craigslist.
Of course you need a good life jacket (not those around the neck ones) they have coast guard approved vest that are awesome but are like 50 bucks. So I got just a vest life jacket 30$
So I would say around 500$ if you were wanting to start seriously getting into it, but about 200$ for just a casual rider.
Expensive for good equipment my ’09 Ronix Mana with ’09 Cell was about $ 700. But it is totally worth it I love my board. You probally want a brand new board so I reccomend Ronix. If your planning on riding rails or in a cable park I recommend the ’10 Frank boots with ’10 Bill board. If not get an Ibex (good pop of of wake) or a Mana (Smooth landings of jumps). A good vest life jacket (Ronix Frank Rib Huggers) for a line Liquid Force Dragon rope with a Ronix Frank handle. For picking up the ladies after your sick run a pair of Dragon Wormser Sunglasses. In total everything I just mentioned is about $ 1000-$ 1500.
