Question by Interested: Can people read this and honestly say that chimps aren’t human-like?
“A team working in the Republic of Congo discovered that the chimps are crafting brush-tipped “fishing rods” to scoop the insects out of their nests.
They filmed the wild primates using their teeth to fashion the tools.”

evolution is a beautiful thing
Where did you get that “we came from monkeys” out of this???
All I am pointing out is that chimps learn and create tools to aid their survival, just like early humans did and many humans still do. We all share a common ancestor. Some people just don’t understand the point of something unless it is spelled out word-for-word for them.

Of course they’re not human like. I mean, how many humans eat bugs?
WIN!!!
What do you think? Answer below!

Just don’t name one of them “Ceasar”…:)
Yes, evolution is a beautiful thing.
Peace.
“If we evolved from monkeys then why are they still around?” – typical fundie response.
To Mojo:
Lots of people eat bugs, apparently ants are salty.
Humans recognize chimp facial expressions with 85% accuracy. Our accuracy with human facial expressions if 93%. Not much higher.
A chimp and a human laughing sound remarkably similar. And think about that “WOOOO!” sound we make when we’re excited. Chimps make the exact same noise.
And these are all basic observations, not even delving into all the scientific proof of our relation to primates. People who say they honestly see no connection between humans and other primates are deluding themselves.
I think they just want to imagine that they’re “special” somehow. Sad.
Don’t you think that GOD can create chimps, animals, humans separately? Why do some think, the only way could have been evolution? What limits humans put on GOD!!!
I think He is quite capable – your mind is just very limited…
Where do evolutionists come up with this stuff? Aren’t you aware that Darwinism doesn’t even suggest we came from chimps or monkeys, but rather from a single cell organism? I’m a Christian & I give the guy more credit than some humanists do.
Beside, how does this support evolution? Beavers build dams to hold water, does that mean we came from Beavers?

So, what you are saying is, when a human being imitates a dog, he is related to a dog?
Peace!
